Mozilla Firefox Vulnerabilities

Mozilla has issued an update for Firefox to address multiple vulnerabilities which can be exploited to disclose sensitive information, bypass certain security restrictions, or to compromise a user’s system.

A few of these vulnerabilities only affect Firefox 3.5 while some affect only Firefox 3.6. Several vulnerabilities impact both Firefox 3.5 and Firefox 3.6. Users are recommended to upgrade to Firefox 3.6.4 as soon as possible. Those users who must remain using Firefox 3.5 should update to 3.5.10 as soon as possible.

It’s worth nothing that Firefox 3.6.4 has additional security features, which are unavailable in Firefox 3.5, such as "out-of-process plug-ins" where plug-ins such as Flash and Java are run in separate, isolated, processes, thus improving security and reliability.
