Don’t Surf Nude, Dude!

For a fun way to learn about safe surfing online, check out McAfee’s fun game: Don’t Surf Nude, Dude. I love it! You upload a picture, and in JibJab fashion, turn yourself into a cartoon. You can choose an outfit or go nude – your choice decides whether you succeed or fail.
I played a few times and then shared the picture of my character on Facebook with my friends. Lots of fun!
At the end of the game, take the time to download Site Advisor. If you don’t have it yet, you should! It’s free and McAfee does all the work scouring sites for malware and sites that will send you annoying SPAM. What’s not to like?
So go give it a try and share your silly picture with your friends… especially the ones who say things like “Oh, I only have dial up, I don’t need antivirus” or “My computer is old anyway, I’ll probably just replace it rather than protect this old thing!”
I remember once when Site Advisor warned me of a website that spammed people who gave their email address with 40 emails a week. That was worth the download right there.
So go play the game! Stay safe out there!
